The month of March has a shocking statistic attached to it, the RAA saying data shows more accidents have been recorded in March than any other month over the last five years.
Between 2019 and 2023, 63 people lost their lives on SA roads in March, and according to RAA crash data, that is 12 more than any other month.
Locals are urged to drive carefully and share the road safely this month, as more than 60 per cent of those crashes occurred in regional areas.
