Port Lincoln Netball Association has revealed the impact of its Woolworths Netball Grant, nearly one year after receiving the funding.
The $8,000 grant helped boost NetSetGo registrations through local advertising, supported coach development with expert-led workshops, and funded new training equipment for the 2025 season.
PLNA Vice-President Joanne Franklin said there had been a noticeable increase in players wanting to get involved in netball.
“We had so many little people wanting to get involved…so we said we would start looking after them with new equipment,” she said.
Woolworths Netball Grants are now open for 2025, with $100,000 available nationally, including a $20,000 People’s Choice Award.
Applications close 29 August. Visit woolworthsnetballgrants.com.au to apply.
