Have you ever had a tooth fall out whilst at work? What about whilst you’re presenting in a meeting? How about whilst you’re performing on stage with thousands of eyes watching!
Well that’s exactly what happened to US Country performer LeAnn Rimes during one of her live shows in the UK. Whilst singing her song ‘One Way Ticket’ Rimes sad she “felt something pop in my mouth” and discovered that her dental bridge had fallen out mid song. She shook off the event far better than most would as she popped off stage briefly after the song was completed, fixed the issue and laughed it off on stage.
Rimes took to Instagram to explain what had happened on stage and you can catch the video below!
“If you’ve been around, you know I’ve had a lot of dental surgeries and I have a bridge in the front and it fell out in the middle of my song last night,”
The incident has actually been received with a lot of praise in how Rimes handled it and how she’s been able to laugh it off. Many claiming it to be refreshingly honest and down to earth, and much like in Rimes own words the show must indeed go on.
