Jason Momoa has shaved his beard for the first time in over six years, and fans can’t stop talking about his transformation. The Aquaman star shared a video of the big moment on social media, revealing his clean-shaven look and his candid reaction to seeing his face without a beard.

“Haven’t shaved in six years, and here we are again,” Momoa wrote in the caption. While filming for Dune 3, the actor was asked to shave his iconic beard to reprise his role as Duncan Idaho, a character fans will remember from the first Dune movie, even though he met his end in the story.

Alongside unveiling his new look, Momoa took the opportunity to promote his sustainable water company, Mananalu, and advocate for reducing single-use plastics. The star’s environmental message resonated with fans, who praised his commitment to sustainability in the post’s comments.

Fans also had plenty to say about Jason Momoa’s beard-free appearance:

“You look handsome either way, but I do love the beard!” one fan commented.

“Why hide your beautiful face, Jason? You’re stunning clean-shaven!” another added.

Jason’s beard transformation comes as anticipation builds for Dune 3, set to release in December 2026. The movie continues the epic sci-fi saga that captivated audiences worldwide.
