Six newly built homes in Ceduna are now on the market, as part of a State Government push to boost housing for essential workers across regional South Australia.

The properties are being offered to private investors through a leaseback arrangement, and are already tenanted by government workers in sectors including health, education and law enforcement.

Investors will receive guaranteed rental income for at least 10 years, with the option to extend for another five.

The homes are a mix of two- and three-bedroom builds and were constructed in the past 18 months under the Regional Key Worker Housing Scheme. The initiative aims to ease housing shortages in regional towns by building accommodation specifically for essential staff.

Weekly rents in Ceduna are advertised at up to $540 for two-bedroom homes and $655 for three-bedroom properties. The leases include annual rental increases, no vacancy risk, and full property and tenancy management.

Renewal SA’s Office for Regional Housing has appointed Harcourts to manage the sale of the homes, which can be purchased individually, in groups or as a full portfolio of 26 properties across the state.

The Ceduna listings are part of the final stage of the current housing rollout.
