A special graduation celebration has been held in Port Lincoln, recognising the achievements of three local university students.
The event acknowledged the dedication required to complete higher education while living and studying in a regional community.
Graduates Nike Ajao, Sarah Hill and Prue Hall were recognised for completing qualifications in social work and nursing.
The students studied through Uni Hub Spencer Gulf, allowing them to complete their degrees close to home while balancing study, work and community commitments.
Organisers say access to local study options is helping more Eyre Peninsula residents move into skilled careers that support and strengthen regional communities.
