Lincoln Gardens Primary School in Port Lincoln is set to benefit from a $10,000 funding boost aimed at improving student safety.
The funding has been awarded through the RAA’s Regional Safety Grants program and will support upgrades to a key student walkway at the school.
The project will involve installing a natural wooden pylon art feature to create a safer buffer between pedestrian traffic and a nearby car park.
Lincoln Gardens Primary School is one of 20 recipients across South Australia to receive funding through this year’s program.
Since launching in 2013, the RAA Regional Safety Grants program has awarded around $700,000 to schools and community groups across the state to support local safety improvements.
