If you’ve ever wanted to run alongside a world record holder, you’ll soon have the chance to in Cleve.
Ulta-endurance runner Phil Gore has been named as the event ambassador for this year’s Cleve Running Festival, ahead of its return in September.
Gore famously ran 119 in a Backyard Ultra, where he set a world record, and also holds the record at the Yeldulknie Weir Trail parkrun.

He’s set to take part in community events across the weekend, before race day on Sunday.
The festival includes multiple race distances, family activities and strong local support, and runs from 25 to 27 of September.
