Local community groups in Port Lincoln are being encouraged to get across a new national Emergency Alert system.
Free Aus Alert information sessions are being held on Wednesday at the Nautilus Arts Centre, ahead of a citywide trial in June.
The sessions aim to show how the system works, and help keep the community informed during emergencies.
