If you want to be among the first people on the planet to see the new footage, you will need a Netflix subscription. The streaming giant has secured a six-hour exclusive window before the video hits YouTube and the official GTA 6 website.
For Australian fans, the Netflix premiere drops bright and early on Friday, August 28. Viewers in Melbourne, Sydney, Hobart, Canberra, and Brisbane can tune in at 5:00 am AEST. Adelaide and Darwin fans catch it at 4:30 am ACST, while Perth viewers have an early start at 3:00 am AWST.
If you do not have Netflix, do not panic. You can watch the exact same footage for free on Rockstar’s YouTube channel later that morning at 11:00 am AEST (or your local equivalent).
Meanwhile, physical pre-order discounts are starting to pop up. Amazon has listed standard copies for PS5 and Xbox Series X at $125 with free shipping. Fans looking to upgrade to the Ultimate Edition digitally can also do so for an extra $30, making the total package roughly $155.
