NAIDOC Week Events

Colouring-in Competition: 

  • Posters available from 20th June at schools and local businesses 
  • Must be submitted by Friday 4th July to be considered for selection 
  • Winners will be selected at the Cookout on Wednesday 9th July and you must be there to collect your prize!

NAIDOC March Friday 4th July:

  • Meeting at the foreshore lawns near Yacht club at 10am to begin the march at 10:30am from the corner of Tasman Terrance and Eyre Street
  • The march will conclude at the lawns adjacent to the foreshore playground
  • Rotary will be providing a sausage sizzle
  • Community speakers 
  • All community members are invited to join us in the march to begin NAIDOC celebrations!

Elders Luncheon Monday 7th July: 

  • Community Elders are invited to The Grand Tasman Hotel to enjoy lunch and dessert 
  • A weaving workshop will be running during the luncheon for Elders to enjoy

Quiz night Tuesday 8th July: 

  • All community members are invited to join us at Mallee Park for a fun night of trivia and games starting at 6pm 
  • Teams of 6-8 can be registered to Travis via email (Travis.N@kwy.org.au) or phone (0402 406 033)
  • Free food, bar open for drinks and lots of prizes to win  

Cookout & Community Expo Day Wednesday 9th July:

  • Join us for a fun day of eating traditional foods, and sharing culture and creativity at Mallee Park from 10am
  • Damper making workshops, live music, kids scavenger hunt, silent disco, colour run, and free food are just some of the amazing things to enjoy on this day 

Kids disco Thursday 10th July: 

  • Free entry for primary aged children up to 11 years old
  • At Mallee Park from 5pm until 7:30pm 
  • Cupcake making station, lots of prizes to win, DJ Sars playing live music and more
  • Free food provided

Youth Ball Friday 11th July: 

  • Join us at Mallee Park from 7pm until 10pm to enjoy a fun night of dancing to DJ Sars and announcing the 2025 NAIDOC awards 
  • Tickets are $12 each and can be purchased via the Port Lincoln NAIDOC 2025 Facebook page
  • Dress code is formal attire, so get your best dresses and suits ready for a fun night

Senior Ball Saturday 12th July: 

  • Get your best dresses and suits out for a great night at Mallee Park from 6pm until midnight 
  • Enjoy live music with DJ Sars and amazing food
  • Tickets are $55 each and available to purchase via our Facebook page 
  • NAIDOC awards will be announced
