Sophie Thomson coming to Port Lincoln!

Sophie Thomson in conjunction with the Port Lincoln Garden Club is offering morning tea workshops  1.  ‘Cool…Every Garden can make a difference’ – As our climate becomes hotter and harsher, every garden can make a difference, helping to mitigate the Urban Heat Island Effect. In this session we look at how you can transform your garden into a cool and livable oasis, which looks great and also provides food security for your household and habitat for wildlife.

2.’Gardening for Health and Wellbeing’ is a more of a general topic. Recent medical research has backed up the long-held belief by the gardening community that regular doses of gardening are good for you!

Venue is Arteyrea, cnr of Mortlock and Blackman Place Port Lincoln

$15 for non-members, accepting cash only.

9:45 for 10am till 1230. Tea and Coffee and morning tea provided.
