A Port Neill man who was last year charged with murder, has asked to be released from custody on home detention bail.
It is alleged sometime between August 31st and September 4th last year, 28-year-old John Griffin killed a 66-year-old pensioner who was living in a caravan park in the town.
Mr. Griffin faced the Port Augusta Magistrates Court over the charges, with Mr Griffin’s lawyer identifying a potential location for the accused to stay if home detention was granted.
