It was a big weekend of local footy.
In round 5 of the Eastern Eyre league, CEU defeated Cowell 90 to 44 while Kimba got over Ports 104 to 51.
Round 6 of the Great Flinders league wrapped up with Lock defeating Tumby Bay by 50 points, 92 to 42.
Eyre United went down to Elliston 80 to 93, and United Yeelanna got over Cummins Rambler, 80 to 54.
In Port Lincoln, there are a few tighter games – Mallee Park just getting away from Lincoln South 66 to 62.
And Tasman defeated Wayback by 16-points, 52 to 36.
But it was a flogging for Boston, they went down to top of the table Marble Range by 96 points, 139 to 43.
And in the Western Eyre league, Thevenard defeated Ceduna Blues 132 to 29, And Koonibba beat Wirrulla 148 to 71.
But it was the Western United v. West Coast Hawks game that got chins wagging… Western United booted 50 goals and 23 behinds to the Hawks 2 behinds, the final score 323 to 2.
