Tumby Bay Council has welcomed Bridget Mather as its new interim chief executive officer.
Ms Mather commenced in the role last Thursday, bringing extensive local government experience to the position. She most recently served as chief executive of the Coorong District Council.
The appointment was announced last week by Deputy CEO Dion Watson and Mayor Geoff Chruchett.

Ms Mather steps into the role following the departure of former CEO Darren Keenan, who was dismissed after nine months in the position.
