Demand for Mining Jobs Reaches New High

A new report has found the demand for mining jobs in SA has reached a new high.


The latest Resources and Engineering Skills Alliance report reveals that during the third quarter of this financial year, there were 930 job advertisements placed in SA, the highest volume since 2013.

Out of all jobs advertised in the state, 10 per cent were based in Whyalla and the Eyre Peninsula, with the R.E.S.A expecting this trend to increase in the coming years as the green hydrogen industry develops in the Upper Spencer Gulf and demand for skilled workers increases.
