Two motorbike riders have lost their licences in separate drug incidents on the Eyre Peninsula.
Police stopped a 47-year-old Port Lincoln man on Thursday 13 March after he was seen driving down Stevenson Court on a motorbike without registration plates.
Checks revealed the man didn’t have a motorcycle licence and his bike was unregistered and uninsured.
He submitted to a drug test and provided a positive result to methamphetamine.
At about 7pm that same day, police stopped a Suzuki motorbike on McGee Street in Whyalla for a mobile rider test.
Checks found the 53-year-old Whyalla Stuart man didn’t have a motorcycle licence, and his bike was unregistered and uninsured.
He also tested positive to methamphetamine.
Both men had their licences suspended for three months and their motorcycles were impounded for 28 days.
They’re expected to front court at a later date.
