Two Eyre Peninsula community groups have scored a funding boost through Australia Post’s People of Post grants.
The Arno Bay Progress Association will use their funding to support vulnerable residents during emergencies, through the printing and distribution of fridge-mounted emergency booklets.
Meanwhile, SA Ambulance Service will receive a branded gazebo for the Cummins volunteer ambulance unit to provide shade and clear identification during emergency incidents, natural disasters and community events.
The grants have been distributed to 251 groups and initiatives across the country for projects that support local communities.
