Eyre Peninsula tourism shines at SA Tourism Awards

Our tourism operators have shone on the state-level stage, scoring six honours at the South Australian Tourism Awards.

Local gold winners included Streaky Sounds and the Whyalla Visitor Centre, while Geoff and Irene Scholz from the Gawler Ranges Wilderness Safaris received the Outstanding Contribution Award.

Eyre Lab’s Manny Katz also won in the Young Achiever Award category.

Our region also picked up three silver honours, including the Kimba Council, Coodlie Park Eco Retreat and Port Lincoln Visitor Centre.

Coodlie Park Eco Retreat also scored a bronze recognition, while fellow Eyre Peninsula finalist Teakle Wines and Pod-e also being celebrated.
