After announcing its postponement last week – the Port Lincoln FAME Awards have confirmed a new date.
The annual event will now be held on November 8 at the Nautilus Theatre.
The iconic event was forced to push the event back from its original August 22 date, due to technical difficulties with the venue.

This event is the 13th iteration, and will mark the last one for organisers the Port Lincoln City Band.
City Band member Valerie Staunton said the event will evolve into something different next year.
“We will continue with a cabaret event, and [we’re] looking to just bring the music and entertainment moving forward,” she said.
Entries for the last FAME Awards have now been extended to September 30.
