An increase in mice activity across regional South Australia could damage emerging crops this season.
Grain Producers SA has just released their mice forecast, indicating growing populations in key cropping areas on the Eyre Peninsula, Mid North and Yorke Peninsula.
Chief Executive Brad Perry said the warning has come at a critical time, as our grain producers prepare for the seeding season.

He recommends producers to head out to the paddocks now to check for any signs of activity, and applying baits to growing crops.
He also confirmed that works are ongoing to improve control options.
