Kimba will represent the Eyre Peninsula in the finals for this year’s Ag Town of the Year Award.
The town is a top three finalist alongside Lameroo in the Mallee region, and Keith on the Limestone Coast.
Kimba is known for its strong agricultural industry, particularly in wheat production. The nomination recognises the town for its community-driven approach to sustainable farming and regional development through innovation and education.

This isn’t Kimba’s first time making it to the top, previously winning the award in 2021 and named as a finalist in 2020 and 2024.
