Kimba Mayor Dean Johnson announced yesterday the town is a finalist for the 2023 Excellence in Public Health Award.
Mayor Johnson says they have several projects worthy of recognition, and the can-do community is proud to be recognised.
Some projects include the “That’s our Kimba” initiative as a new approach to attract GP’s to the region, and the new medical centre with all the latest technology.

The winner of the award will be announced on Thursday, 26 October.
