Kimba have welcomed Doctor Yee Poyne to town!
Doctor Yee has relocated to the Eyre Peninsula with her young family to be the town’s long-term stand-in doctor.
She works out of Kimba’s newly refurbished medical centre five days a week, for three weeks each month.

Kimba District Council says they’re happy to be housing the family while continuing their efforts to attract a permanent doctor to the town.
They are working on bringing over a doctor who currently lives and works in South Africa.
The Council hopes to work through the migration process and welcome the permanent doctor to town by the end of the year.
