Eyre Peninsula grain producers have helped SA produce a record harvest.
The final crop estimate for the 2022-23 season was reportedly 12.8 million tonnes according to PIRSA, 51 per cent higher than the year previous.
The last crop production record was 11 million tonnes in the 2016-17 season.
While a record for tonnes produced, rain and storms did see some impacts to yields and quality in some areas.
Minister for Primary Industries, Clare Scriven, said in a statement this is a great result for South Australian primary producers, as well as the South Australian economy.
