A man has been arrested, after he was caught allegedly breaking into the Whyalla Council building over the weekend.
Police were called to the premises just after 1:30am on Sunday, following reports of an alarm in the building.
Upon arrival, police entered the building with security, where they allegedly found a 28-year-old Whyalla Stuart man inside.

He surrendered to police without incident and was arrested.
He has been charged with serious criminal trespass and property damage, and will front court in January.
