A man has been arrested after allegedly assaulting a taxi driver and stealing his vehicle in Port Lincoln.
Police were called to the Lincoln Highway at about 4:30am on Sunday, following reports a 36-year-old man had been assaulted and had his vehicle stolen.
The victim was taken to hospital with minor injuries.
Investigations later led to police finding a suspect on King Street, where he allegedly returned a breath test reading of 0.118.
The man was arrested and charged with robbery illegal use of a motor vehicle, property damage and drink driving.
He has also lost his licence for six months and will front court in December.
