Marnie Lock appointed Lower Eyre Council CEO

Lower Eyre Council has appointed experienced local government leader Marnie Lock as its new Chief Executive Officer.

Ms Lock brings more than 30 years’ experience across local government, economic development, tourism and community services, most recently with the City of Holdfast Bay.

She says she’s looking forward to connecting with staff, elected members and the community to help deliver shared outcomes.

Mayor Jo-Anne Quigley says Ms Lock’s strategic leadership will support a range of major projects already underway, including the Economic Growth Plan, Cummins land development and the Coffin Bay foreshore upgrade.

The appointment comes as the council continues to focus on growth and development across the region.
