Mill Cottage Museum Celebrating 50 Years

The historic Mill Cottage Museum in Port Lincoln will be celebrating 50 years later this month.

The cottage was transformed into a museum of early Port Lincoln memorabilia in 1973, after the Bishop family stopped the sale of the home and gave the property to the council, with the National Trust taking possession of the cottage in 1966.

A group of volunteers will be holding a celebration to commemorate the anniversary on Saturday April 15, with a collection of invited guests and some members of the family meeting at the cottage.
