Natural hydrogen research will be taking place on the Eyre Peninsula next week.

H2EX received an exploration licence in June last year, and workers from company, along with CSIRO researchers will start non-invasive gas soil sampling in the region to detect hydrogen and helium.

The research will take place within the licence area, which includes the Cleve, Port Neill, Arno Bay and Tumby Bay areas, and will start on Monday for a duration of two weeks.
