New shark mitigation measures have been installed at Granites Beach in Streaky Bay.
A shark sighting community board and flagpole system are now available, replacing the previous low-tech signage.
As part of the initiative, more shark awareness signage has also been installed and a trauma kit is accessible at the bottom of the staircase.

The Council plan on rolling out more education and information on further shark mitigation in the future, including extending the facilities to additional locations.
