One of SA’s favourite birds, the pink cockatoo, has been added to threatened species list.
The iconic cocky, which can be found on the West Coast, was added to the list last month, and has prompted calls from the Australian Conservation Foundation for an urgent reform of national environmental protection laws.
The updated threatened species list this month added snakes, frogs and lizards.
