Police from Cowell, Kimba and Whyalla have coordinated a drug day of action across Cowell and surrounding districts.
On Thursday 5 March, officers conducted searches at addresses in Cowell and Arno Bay, while also setting up driver screening along a known drug transit route in the area.
Several vehicles were stopped and tested for alcohol and drugs during the operation.

The day of action resulted in five traffic expiation notices, four cannabis expiation notices, one drug diversion, and three reports, with one vehicle impounded.
Police say operations like this help target drug activity and improve road safety across the region.
