Hundreds packed the Eyre Park War Memorial in Port Lincoln for the ANZAC Day Dawn Service, commemorating those in our armed forces, past and present.
Politicians, students, army cadets and local service leaders were invited to lay wreaths by the memorial at the ceremony in the city.
President of the Port Lincoln RSL Sub Branch, Gary Clough, said ANZAC Day holds a special place in the hearts of Australian people.
“It isn’t invasion day, it isn’t divisive, our shared history is uniting,” he said.
