The Port Lincoln jetty will close to the public from next Monday for a number of weeks, as work to replace poor condition jetty piles begins.
Maritime Construction will undertake work from a barge with minimal disruptions from land, as piles and gear will be loaded onto the barge at the Viterra Wharf.
The swimming enclosure will not be available during this period.
The works are the first step in the multi-million dollar renewal of the jetty and are part of upgrades to the Port Lincoln foreshore.
