Today marks 25 years of the Port Lincoln Railway Museum.
It first opened to the public on September 2, 1999, following many years of collecting, cataloguing and preparing exhibits.
When the museum first opened it took up just two rooms in the station building, but it gradually expanded to the entire ground floor as well as two other buildings.

Museum President Peter Knife says while the museum has grown the list of volunteers has shrunk due to age and infirmity.
Anyone who might want to volunteer is welcome to get in contact.
