As winter draws closer, the RAA is calling for caution on the roads.
This week, some parts of the Eyre Peninsula saw over 15 millimetres of rainfall following a relatively dry summer.
In a statement, RAA Senior Manager Safety and Infrastructure, Charles Mountain, said wet roads bring with them extra challenges for drivers, challenges that we should all mentally prepare for after months of driving in mainly dry conditions.

Last year, over 2,500 drivers around the state were fined for tailgating, resulting in over $680,000 collected.
