Two people have been arrested after multiple break-ins last week, including a teenage boy.

At 2am last Thursday, 22 June, four people allegedly broke into a business on the Esplanade in Coffin Bay and stole cash and cigarettes.

Later at 3:15am, another break-in occurred at a business on Edinburgh Terrace at Port Lincoln where multiple gaming consoles were stolen.

Both offences involved a white 2011 Ford Ranger Utility – a vehicle stolen from a Seaton Avenue Port Lincoln address earlier that night.

After further investigations by detectives and uniformed police, officers searched two Port Lincoln homes and located cigarettes stolen from Coffin Bay and a number of Xbox gaming consoles.

Police arrested a 16-year-old boy and a 26-year-old woman for the offences.

The woman was bailed to appear in the Port Lincoln Magistrates Court on 24 August, and the boy will appear in the Port Lincoln Youth Court on 17 July.
