Warning Given to Drivers Following Animal Crash Spike

An increase in collisions with animals on SA roads has promoted further warnings from the RAA.

RAA data shows claims for cars hitting animals was up 48 per cent more in March, compared to the month prior, with 87 per cent of animals hit in SA kangaroos.

Spokesperson for RAA Insurance, Kimberley Bolton said animals can also be more active during dawn and dusk hours, so be extra cautious when driving at those times, especially on regional roads.
