Two people have been arrested, after police uncovered weapons, drugs and firearm parts in Whyalla.
Police stopped a silver Holden Calais on Curnow Street just after 4:15am on Thursday 26 June.
A search of the vehicle allegedly revealed a homemade firearm, a glass pipe, a small amount of white crystal substance, and a machete.
The driver, a 37-year-old Whyalla Stuart man, was charged with firearm and drug offences. He was refused bail.
A follow-up search at a home on Geddes Street also uncovered firearm manufacturing equipment, modified gun parts, ammunition and other prohibited weapons.
A 37-year-old woman at the property was charged with manufacture firearm and possess ammunition without licence, and also refused bail.
Police seized all items and investigations are ongoing.
