Whyalla’s Christmas Pageant is under new management this year, as the previous organisers struggled for volunteers and time.
The GFG Alliance Christmas Pageant has been taken on by the council, who are combining the Pageant with the Whyalla Community Christmas Carols to create ‘Christmas on the Avenue’.
This will form a bigger, more centrally-located and accessible event for the whole community, and Council will seek community feedback after this year’s event to discover the preferred format.

Management of the event will be passed on to community groups next year.
