We’ve got your full list of ANZAC Day services and commemorations across the Eyre Peninsula.
Lock – 6:30am Dawn Service at Lock Institute Hall, Railway Terrace
Elliston – 7am Dawn Service at the Elliston Memorial. Service breakfast to follow ($10 cash only).
Streaky Bay – 6:45am Dawn Service at the Jetty Platform. Followed by a ‘Gunfire’ breakfast at the Streaky Bay Hotel from 7:15am.
ANZAC Day March will commence at 10:45am. Assemble on the corner of Wells St and Bay Road (diagonally across from the Chemist). Bay Road from Montgomerie Terrace to Wells St will be closed from 10:30am to 11:30am for the March.
A Commemorative Service at the RSL Hall corner of Bay Road and Montgomerie Terrace will begin at 11am. Following the service, the RSL Hall will be open for refreshments and a BBQ lunch cooked by CFS volunteers.
The Streaky Bay Waste Transfer Station will be closed on Saturday.
Tumby Bay – 6am Service at the Cenotaph. Wreath layers are to meet at 5:45am. Gunfire Breakfast to follow at the RSL.
Cleve – Meet at RSL Hall at 5:50am, Service to begin at 6am. Morning songs by the Cleve Melody Singers, with special guest speakers Tim Collins and Squadron Leader Stephen Squires. Breakfast to be provided by the Cleve Lions Club.
Kimba – Meet at the Nutrien corner at 9:45am ahead of the Service at 10am.
Minnipa – 7am Service at Minnipa Pval RSL Memorial Oval Gates. Community breakfast to follow at the Sports Club.
Wudinna – 6am Service at Stanley Park.
Port Lincoln – 6:20am Dawn Service at the War Memorial at Eyre Park. Gunfire breakfast to follow at the Port Lincoln RSL from 7am ($5 per serve).
March assembles at 10am, ahead of the 10:20am procession. The main Memorial Service will be held at Eyre Park at 10:30am.
A salute will be made in front of the RSL Clubrooms during the march.
Ode of Remembrance and The Last Post at Centenary Oval at 2:30pm.
The section of Hallett Place from Adelaide Place to Eyre Park will close from 10am to 11:30am.
The Nautilus Arts Centre will be closed this Saturday.
