A series of Livestock Ag Technology Expos will be held across regional South Australia this month.

The expos will showcase the latest innovation and will encourage greater Ag Tech adoption on Farms.

Funded through the Marshall Liberal Government’s $7.5 million Red Meat and Wool Program, the technology expos will be making its way up to Wudinna on February 18th.

Minister for Primary Industries and Regional Development David Basham said the expos give livestock farmers the ability to better understand technologies available to them.

The expos will give red meat and wool producers the opportunity to hear from, and talk to, providers about tech solutions that are readily available.

“The Livestock Ag Technology Expos, originally planned for 2020 but postponed due to COVID-19, are bringing technology experts and demonstrations directly to producers. Investing in AgTech supports increased jobs in our South Australian red meat and wool sector which generates $2.4 billion each year in production and processing and employs 30,000 people.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, registration will be essential. Details are available at PIRSA.
