The Marshall Liberal Government has opened a second round of funding of up to $25,000 for local Charter operators to help boost local economies and support regional jobs.
The $500,000 program is designed to help support South Australian charter boat operators impacted by the three-year fishing closure to replenish snapper stocks.
Minister for Primary Industries and Regional Development David Basham said the program is helping to strengthen the charter boat sector by co-investing in projects which enhance the tourism experience, saying in a release “sector plays an important role in our regional economies and we are backing these businesses to expand what they have to offer”
