Last week saw Member for Grey Rowan Ramsay and Federal Local Government Minister Mark Coulton in Tumby Bay to officially open a pair of major infrastructure projects, which had been delayed due to COVID.

The 2.5 million dollar stormwater project includes drainage and retention basins to capture redirected local stormwater and both protect existing and for future residential and commercial development.

The Bratten Bridge refurbishment project has seen the increase in load limits, along with additional roadworks to support the improved infrastructure.

Mr. Ramsay said ‘This project will improve access for freight vehicles and agricultural machinery to create greater efficiencies, reduce transport costs for primary producers, and improve safety.
