Wild and woolly conditions, including a forecast “Antarctic blast” moving across South Australia has triggered a state-wide Code Blue response for people sleeping rough.
During a Code Blue activation, Housing SA, together with its non-government partners, provide additional accommodation and support for the vulnerable people in our community.
The code blue has been activated for last night and tonight.
Minister for Human Services Michelle Lensink said “Due to forecast excessive wind, rain and possible thunderstorms across the state we’ve activated a state-wide Code Blue to ensure extra services are available
Locals sleeping rough can reach out to West Coast Youth and Community Support services located on Mortlock Terrace Port Lincoln.
