2021 Mortlock Shield Football Carnival Locked and Loaded

After the forced cancellation in 2020, the Bendigo Bank Mortlock Shield returns tomorrow at Centenary Oval in Port Lincoln.

The 2021 carnival will be a round robin event with each of the 5 Teams to play each other starting on Saturday and the final games to be played out on Monday that will decide the winner.

On Saturday the Women’s game will kick off the carnival at 9.30 followed by the first men’s game at 11am as Western Eyre take on Lincoln Districts.

Three other games will follow throughout the afternoon to complete the Saturday fixture.

Sunday will see the Under 15’s Norwood Cup played with the cream of the Eyre Peninsula’s future football champions featuring.

On Monday the Shield's round robin games will continue from 10am with Great Flinders playing Eastern Eyre and the final game commencing from 2.40pm as Eastern Eyre and Lincoln Districts round out the carnival followed by presentations, including the 2021 Bendigo Bank Mortlock Shield Champions being announced.
