EP Grand Finals Go Down to the Wire

A number of nail biter grand finals were held across the region over the weekend, with some games going down to the wire.

At Ravendale, the Port Lincoln Hockey Men’s A grade final was decided in the dying seconds with Marauders defeating Wanderers 3 goals to 2 and in the Women’s A Grade final Panthers were too good for Marauders winning 2 goals to one.

In the Great Flinders Football at Tumby Bay, Cougars full forward Johan Wagner kicked his third goal late in the game to bring up 100 goals for the season but it wasn’t enough with Cummins Kapinne falling 3 points short to United Yeelanna.

In the A grade Netball Cummins Kapinnie finished the season undefeated beating Ramblers 64 to 49

And at Centenary Oval, Marble Range won their first Port Lincoln Football league A grade premiership since 2007 coming from behind to defeat Waybacks by 3 points and finish the season off undefeated.
