After a violent home break-in at Port Lincoln last week, police are asking for the public to come forward with any new information.
On Tuesday, a 29 year old Port Lincoln man was arrested after breaking into a Yardea Street home.
Police allege a man forcibly entered the home and assaulted a 21 year old man, allegedly punching him, assaulting him with a metal pole and threatening him with a firearm.
He will appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court today.
Police say this was not a random incident and the pair are known to each other.
In relation to the incident, police are requesting anyone with dashcam footage of the Lincoln Highway, between Normandy Place in Port Lincoln and Port Boston between 2:30pm and 4pm on the 5th of October to call Crimestoppers.
