A pop up vaccination clinic will open at Port Lincoln High School, as part of the State Government’s push to increase vaccination rates among teenagers.
The school is one of the 20 public, private and Catholic schools across the state set to open the temporary clinics in a six-week ‘blitz’, available for students aged 12 to 18, as well as local residents on weekends.
The latest data from SA Health revealed SA is the worst performing state and territory in terms of first jabs for teenagers aged between 12 and 15, with a little over 27 per cent of those in the age bracket vaccinated.
The rollout will begin within the next few weeks.
